Norton Antivirus 2004

Nach der Installation vom neuen Norton Antivirus 2004 werden in der Taskleiste unten rechts nur noch die Zeit und das Norton Symbol eingeblendet, das Netzwerk, Lautsprecher und andere Symbole sind nicht mehr vorhanden, beim NAV 2003 sind diese Probleme nicht vorhanden. Die Fehlfunktion mit dem NAV 2004 ist nicht bei allen PC,s vorhanden.
Vorschläge von Symatec funktionieren nur bis zum nächsten booten. Wer hat auch die gleichen Probleme.

Besten Dank für Deine Info, leider funktioniert auch dieser Vorschlag nicht, von Symantec habe ich den Vorschlag beim Text unten bekommen, diese Änderungen funktionieren nur bis zum nächsten booten und es ist sicher nicht die Idee so in der Registrierung herumzuwühlen.

Es handelt sich hier wahrscheinlich um ein sogennantes Timingkonflikt,
bitte schauen Sie sich die folgenden Anweisungen an. Leider nur in
englischer Sprache:

How to remove ccApp and ccRegVfy from the Registry
and create shortcuts to them in the Startup folder

Step 1: Remove ?ccApp? and ?ccRegVfy? from the Registry

1. Click on Start and Run.
2. Type ?regedit? and click Ok. The Registry Editor opens.
3. Navigate to the following registry key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
4. When the Run-key is highlighted, locate the following two values on
the right pane:
"ccApp"="\"C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\Symantec
Shared\\ccApp.exe\""
"ccRegVfy"="\"C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\Symantec
Shared\\ccRegVfy.exe\""

5. Right-click on ?ccApp? and click on Delete.
6. Click on Yes, when the ?Confirm Value Delete? message box appears.
7. Right-click on ?ccRegVfy? and click on Delete.
8. Click on Yes, when the ?Confirm Value Delete? message box appears.
9. Close the Registry Editor.

Step 2: Create shortcuts to ?ccApp? and ?ccRegVfy? in the Startup folder

Windows 98/ME

1. Right-click Start, and then click Open.
2. Double-click the Programs folder.
3. Double-click the StartUp folder.
4. Right-click in an empty area of the window, point to New, and then
click Shortcut.
5. Browse to the Symantec Shared folder, for example, C:\Program
Files\Common files\Symantec Shared.
6. Double-click the ccApp.exe file.
7. Click Next, and then click Finish.
8. Right-click again in an empty area of the window, point to New, and
then click Shortcut.
9. Browse to the Symantec Shared folder, for example, C:\Program
Files\Common files\Symantec Shared.
10. Double-click the ccRegVfy.exe file.
11. Click Next, and then click Finish.
12. Restart the computer to allow Poproxy.exe to load from the StartUp
folder, then go on to the next section.

Windows 2000/XP

1. Right-click Start, and then click Open All Users.

Note: Windows 2000 and XP have more than one users folder. Therefore it
is essential that you click on Open All Users, because you will create
shortcuts that will be applied to all user that logs on to the machine.
If you don?t do this you will create shortcuts only for the user who is
currently logged on to the machine. This will leave other users who
might log on to the machine without virus protection.

2. Double-click the Programs folder.

click Shortcut.
5. Browse to the Symantec Shared folder, for example, C:\Program

10. Double-click the ccRegVfy.exe file.
11. Click Next, and then click Finish.
12. Restart the computer to allow Poproxy.exe to load from the StartUp
folder, then go on to the next section.

Beim NAV 2004 muss unbedingt das Land angegeben werden sonst kann nicht weiter installiert werden.

Achtung beim NV 2003 gibt es manchmal Probleme siehe Tread unten, ich würde nur die Virendefination Lifeupdaten.
